About My Camera

I own a Sony DSC-W1 of my own. It’s my cute little camera that has server me well for over 3 years now. It has a point-and-shoot option that is a bliss for when you’re dicking around with people and you’re taking those basic memory-shots, it also has a pretty nifty manual lighting mode that I use for taking pictures that are supposed to be more “high-end”.

Recently we have bought a Sony DSC-H2 for the family, but I totally nick it most of the time. Aside from the features also present in the DSC-W1 it’s got a better resolution, ISO values ranging from 80 to 1000 (in comparison with the 100 to 400 on the DCS-W1) and the SuperSteady Shot feature that was developed by Sony to help you have a steady hand when taking pictures in a more rugged enviornment.

Joy! Early november 2008 I have made the big step and bought a dSLR, it ended up being a Nikon D60 even though I had always thought I’d end up with a Canon. Ah well, either way I’m thrilled about it! More news and processed pictures from it soon-ish.
